For the Greater Good.

And they shout Democracy.

But do we want it?

Democracy doesn’t stand for comfort, it bribes you with it. Socialism doesn’t stand for comfERt it doesn’t even know how to spell it. Freedom isn’t retirement in Florida, it’s the ability to be heard, to be understood, and to work FUCKING HARD for the future.

I question each human being when it comes to what they truly want.

If you have a family of your own, tell me something. If it came down to actually having to care about every little gear that moves the great oiled machine of democracy…wouldn’t you rather be told what to do with a promise from your government that your family would live happy plentiful lives? Rather than having little Sue Johnson and her little brother Billy fighting a bloody battle for the rights of humanity?

No one in their right mind actually likes battle, but when it comes down to COMFORT vs. FREEDOM, where will you stand?

I didn’t understand the concluding part of your article, could you please explain it more?

Sure, what I’m rambling on about is the idea that if you had to choose to stay ignorent and unmoved, by the atrocities commited by your government. In order to safe guard your way of life (safety/comfort), there is a high probability that you would do so rather than stand up and fight for a uncertain future.
